About Our Pastor
Dr. Barbara F. Buie leads Focus Community Church with dedication and compassion. With 14 years of pastoral experience, she holds a Ph.D. in theology along with two master's degrees.
One of our favorite bible verses at Focus Community Church is:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." — John 3:16
Our vision is to always place God first while serving our community through faith and action.
Dr. Buie is currently developing initiatives to establish a veterans' home and a daycare for autistic children, extending her ministry beyond our church walls.
